If in the beginning, there was just a void, and I think it would be all black because there wouldn’t be a sun yet to give light….how was God created? And if,for the sake of argument,we say God was created by energy and then created everything else……who did God make next? Who was second?

growing pains

Last night I had some pain in my chest on the right side. Sometimes it happens for a little bit and then goes away. It has happened 2 or 3 times before. My Mom said she would take me to the doctor if it still hurt tomorrow but it feels better. She said it is probably growing pains because I am growing so much. I think that is what it is too. It feels kind of like a cramp. Guess I am going to be a big guy but I wish it didn’t have to hurt.

I know it’s been a long time since I blogged. I just didn’t feel like writing because it’s summer and I wanted time off. My Mom says it’s because I have hormones now and eat and sleep more.

So here are some things I have thought about since I last wrote. July 4th was the anniversary of my blog. I have been blogging for 3 years now, except for this time I took off.

My friend JR that lives nearby invited me over to the pool at his subdivision and we had such a fun time swimming around. I am so happy that he invited me over.

I have a new cousin and she is cute. She was born right before the big heatwave this summer so I am glad she lives where it is not so hot because she would not have liked to be here, where it got to be 110-117 degrees with the heat index. I will be a good cousin to her.

It was very upsetting to me that they let that woman who killed her little girl out of jail and free. Her name was Casey Anthony and she did a murder on a kid and now she’s free. That is not right. I heard about it on the news for years and then they just let her go. Something has gone wrong in people’s brains.

I was thinking today about other planets that might be habitable. If they have snow, would it also be white?

We are back home from vacation in Hilton Head, South Carolina. I really didn’t want to go because I am a home guy, but it turned out that I had a really good time. We stayed in a condo/villa that was really, really nice and I had my own room and it had a tv. It did not get as many channels as we get at home though. I did miss Finley a lot. He was very happy to see us when we came back. My ears don’t pop as much on the plane anymore. Waiting in the airport for our plane was really boring, but I played Texas Hold ‘Em on the Ipod. We visited the place where my Papa’s ashes are buried-the church is called St. Francis by the Sea and Papa is near a pond and there is a sign about alligators. We walked to the ocean and I liked the feeling of the water pulling on my feet in the sand when I stood at the edge of the water. I didn’t go swimming in the ocean because I know there are lots of sharks out there just waiting. But I did roll up my shorts and wade in. I saw 2 dolphins swimming around. Dolphins come to the beach there every day. The pool was also just a short walk from our villa and I went everyday. Grandma and I would play fight over the Noodle. We do that when we swim at home too. Grandma and Aunt Patty stayed at a villa on the second floor. We were on the third floor and they would come up every night and play Scrabble and Dominos with my Mom. I would visit them a lot and it was really nice having all of us live in the same place. I could see Grandma all the time. Bryan got there on Wednesday night and we all ate lunch on Thursday at a place called Roasted Fish and Cornbread and they all loved it. I am a McDonalds guy. The waiter said I should try new things but I just said no thanks. He was nice about it. My Mom got me some tshirts and some bubbles and toys-even a fart horn. That was the most fun. One night, I waited until Bryan was sound asleep and then blew the fart horn in his ear. I couldn’t stop laughing. That was a good joke.
So I am glad to be home, but I miss the vacation.

now a 7th grader

Well it’s official-I am now a 7th grader. Next year I will be a Plank Pirate instead of a Bednarcik Bulldog but I will see everyone again at Oswego East High School in 9th grade. I got a certificate for helping in Circle of Friends and for making Honor Roll again. I am going to miss everyone so much. We got our yearbooks and guess what? The two 7th grade girls that I always see in the hall signed my book and both said they would miss me!

I grew almost an inch and a half since April.

We are going to Hilton Head, SC next week for a week and I nervous about going because I don’t like to wake up early to catch a plane and be in the airport and my ears hurt on the plane. But it’s only 2 hours on the plane. And we are going to see my Papa’s grave. I wish he could be there. So even though I’m normally a home guy, I’m going to travel.

My Dad called the other day and left a message and I called him back several times and it just went right to voicemail. I tried to call him today and it went to voicemail again. I am so frustrated that he never answers his phone and he doesn’t call back. So I called my Grandma and told her all about my day and how much I’ll miss everyone.

I was really, really, really irritated and mad yesterday. For about 8 hours. But around 11 p.m., I told my Mom I would like to keep the hair gel and that I would try and have a better day tomorrow.

So today I ended up having a great day. We played softball and the outfield team cheered for me and a few girls too. And I didn’t have any library fines so I get to go to the Bulldog Bash. Our weather is really beautiful today. It’s in the 60′s and sunny. So I am not mad anymore. But I am hungry.

I am sad. I went to school and only 2 people liked my haircut. I thought I was going to be cool. I even tried to talk to people but nobody responded or talked back. I told my Mom to return the hair gel that I wasn’t cool and was just going back to being a regular guy that people don’t talk to.

I want to get my autism out of me. I want people to like me. Why isn’t there National Frank Gallegos day?

I am really irritated with my Mom because she won’t build a robot with muscles that will get bigger and bigger that I can combine with myself so I can be a superstar and have the Governor of Illinois come and I will raise my right hand and he will pin a superstar on me. Now I can never rule the world. I am just a dumb kid.

Today I got a haircut. Not just any haircut. But one that looks really sharp. I think all the kids at school will really like me now. For the first time, I feel like a Dude! I mean a am a Dude, but now I feel like one too. My Mom says it’s like a mini mohawk. The back is spiky too but you can’t really tell in the pictures.

Today I was really ticked off. Nobody was listening and the teacher had to yell and yell again and then blow a whistle and she said what if there was a fire drill or real emergency? Then because everyone was talking and not listening (but I was and so was J.R.), she said there would be no passes and so I got marked a tardy and it wasn’t even my fault. That makes me so mad. And some girls were speedwalking after and I told them NO SPEEDWALKING. But nobody listens. Everyone is crazy. Kids are crazy. Now I know why Mr. M likes to yell in class. I used to think he was angry all the time but now I get it. Because if I was a teacher and told kids to listen and they just kept on talking and didn’t listen, I would yell too. In fact, I would yell so loud that the microphone would make a screech sound and scare everyone. That would be good. Listen up people and follow the rules. And no speedwalking.

I hope tomorrow is a better day.

talking guy

I have decided to be more of a talking guy. I am practicing with my Mom and Bryan and my Grandma. I try and ask them questions about their day and tell them about what I am working on. My Mom says you should ask people questions about themselves because everyone likes to talk about themselves. And if I am not really interested, she said pretend I am. So I am working on that. I told her she is not very good at pretending because I can tell when she is not listening to my weather reports. She said she will work on it.
